Agility competition in gladsaxe during the Nordic Championship
Friday and Saturday are normaly agility competition in Gladsaxe gym, Sunday is the Nordic championship.
Friday and Saturday I started with my two dogs - Zindy was not so good at hers contact fields at Friday so at Saturday I decided to take the dogwalk again during the run. I am training speed on the contact with Lady, so I knew there was a risk she would not get the contact - she did not get the contact on Friday at the dog walk. Saturday I had 2 clean run with lady but unfortunately she is not so good to run on carpet and our times are just not good enough. Zindy is much better to run inside and her times were better than Ladys which the opposite is when we run out. The carpet we race on is much better than what we have at the club.
So is actually quite happy with my runs today.
Tomorrow Sunday, we must support the Danish national team, so we come and cheering

Instructor training
In order to keep my license to teach in Danish kennel club - then there was held a course to training of agility instructors. This was the first of its kind, so those who missed this time can still reach the next courses in 2011.
The course was held in Solrød and instructors were Sarah Lorenzen, who talked about the new Agility Handling methods - fortunately, the same methods that I teach in. Karen Frost talked about dogs and their stress. A really good course in good company with lots of good agility instructors and friends.

Course with Silvia Trkman
Silvia Trkman is en Denmark and held course in tricks and agility. I had signed up with Lady, and ran with her at sundays but Lady was not quit herself after the competition, so I ran with Zindy at Monday afternoon. Lady had been to the ciropractor and could therefore not run. Zindy was very happy and a little bit stressed.

Competition Vallensbæk
Saturday hold the agility club competition in Vallensbæk sports. At
the club's carpet, I regret very much however that I ran with Lady,
because she could not stand firm and this resulted in that we had a trip to
the vet and have directed her chiropractor. Her whole right side was locked. Zindy could run on the carpet but not so fast.
Lady shall newer compete at this carpet anymore.

Årets sidste udendørs konkurrence i albertslund
Årets sidste udendørs stævne blev af holdt i Albertslund. Her skulle jeg overlevere den fine pokal jeg og Lady fik sidste år – årets mest lovende agility ekvipage . Og hvis jeg ser tilbage med alt det jeg har nået, ja så syntes jeg selv at have kunne leve op til dette.
Det er jo ganske trist at vi ikke længere skal løbe konkurrencer udenfor før til næste år – det er bare noget andet at være udenfor end at løbe i en hal.
Resultaterne for weekenden er ikke storslået, jeg havde valgt at træne felter og selvfølgelig gøre mit til at holdene skulle gøre sig godt. ( begge hunde er på hvert sit hold og vi lavede fejlfrie løb i agility og spring )
Begge hold blev i dag placeret som nr. 1 og som nr. 2
Holdet hvor Zindy var på bestående af ( Kim- Kida / Tom-Raffi / Susanne-Rupee
og jeg ) Blev i år placeret til årets hold som nr. 4.
Lady blev nr. 4 i en spring åben ( hun vi fik lige en stor bue hvilke kostede tid ) – det faktisk en sjov bane at løbe ikke så svær og dette var rigtigt rart, specielt da det var den sidste klasse om lørdagen ( så havde jeg løbet 10 løb i alt ) begge hunde var fejlfri mener Zindy blev nr 8.
Zindy fik en 3. Plads i agility åben – Lady trænede jeg felter med men jeg gav hende åbenbart fortidligt go på vippen og vi fik felt fejl – flere sagde dog at den var hårdt dømt ( Lady havde den hurtigste tid i denne klasse ) men igen det kan jeg ikke bruge til noget når jeg ikke lader hende blive på den vippe.
Der var rigtigt mange gode ting i alle mine løb, som jeg er rigtigt stolt af ting som jeg har trænet i løbet af hele året som nu giver resultater. Ex. Vendinger med Lady ( se billede ) meget snert vending.
Normalt kikker jeg ikke på mine målsætninger før året året er omme og et nyt stævne år er klar til at blive sat i gang – men i dag her sidste udendørs stævne ( hvor årets hunde også bliver kåret ) hvilke mål manglede jeg at fuldføre ! !

Alle mine mål for 2010 var blevet fuldført og at Zindy både blev agility mester og svensk agility champion var jo en ekstra bonus. At Lady blev danmarksmester i en alder af 3 ½ har jeg aldrig turde håbe på men sikke en dag, kan huske den som det var i går.
Når målene er realiseret, ja så er det jo på tide at sætte sig nye mål. Og det må jeg jo så til at gøre. Jeg overvejer stadig om jeg skal søge landsholdet med Lady til næste år, jeg ved at vi kan men jeg ved også at jeg blev enormt skuffet over den måde landsholds ledelsen håndterede det hele på i år.

Lady and I became a National champion today
and I am just glad and happy

Gisselfeld Country Days
Gisselfeld
monastery held a huge event called the country days in the related
expenses border collie club held a competition and club championship on site
along with many other outdoor sports activities. The
place was incredibly beautiful, I dident knew that we had such beautiful
places in Denmark, but I can be pleasantly surprised, I would visit the place again.
There was competition Friday / Saturday / Sunday - I was only Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday there was only one agility class 3. Zindy came through with a contact error.
There were also organized a class for fun (weave pole on time) but a weave pole at 24 pole sticks. The dog started with a jump an into the weave pole at 24 poles then the tunnel and then to the weave 24 poles and end with the start jump. This fun class won the Lady
Sunday was club championships held in open jumping and agility open. I started with the Lady and it went really well even until I made a mistake at my handling ( big mistake ), so no club championship to Lady. Zindy had a clean run. At the agility class there was a difficult weave entrance and really many got errors at the start of the weave or the dog ran up on the dog walk which stood close to the weave poles. Lady really like contact equipment so there was only one way I could handle this weave and it went really well. Lady won agility open.
During the day we could train flyball and is Zindy quite good too so she should run this for fun class.

(which means she must touch the plate) - but this is also command to touch on field obstacles ... so when I sent Lady to jump said touch so the dog turned around and put hers hind legs up to the plate which then triggered the ball - which Lady dident care much about. So no, she should not run flyball.

Competition in Vejen ( jutland )
Friday took Tina and I to Vejen in Jutland were we should be all the weekend to the agility competition. We should sleep in my caravan.

European open 2010
It is the first time I have participated in the European Open and unfortunately it was not quite as I'd imagine. EO
was held in the Czech Republic at the stadium where World Cup 2012
agility shall be held (within) the EO was held at the outdoor area with 4
agility courses 2 courses for large dogs and two courses for small / medium
dogs, large dogs participated around 300 dogs.

Zindywas becom at the season (before time ) what did that Zindy should start at the end of all classes. There were the courses completely destroyed, and in fact almost impossible to run.
Sunday the weather was better and we should start with team - unfortunately, I was a little frustrated because one from my team was missing so my focus was a little somewhere else and it was not even better when I should run because I dident know who of us should run first.
It is extremely important to me that things are in order especially when I never had participated at EO before. I chose to pull Zindy the last races and when I had run agility and jumping class finish with Lady we packed down and drived against Denmark.
The results indeed it was of course no - it can be that I need to train in a bit of mud! !
It was really good to be back in Denmark
And I hope that I can take to EO next year - but I have to see when I can get summer vacation from my work.

Fionia cup 2010 - week competition
Week 28
I took to Fyn with mette (and her dog Chess) where we were to participate in week agility competition called Fionia cup. It is now three years since I participated in my first week tournament and it was here to Fionia cup in 2007. There are several nations such as Germany / / England / Sweden and this year also from the USA.
For three years ago we had a little trouble regarding. Accommodation Camplett one who never came and had to borrow a tent on the site which proved that none tent poles. But it was solved.
This year should we just start with a few problems since we dotted with caravan on the highway - luckily we had the spare and Mette was a really great help regarding. Changing tires.
As always, it is incredibly comfortable on such week competitions and we had the pleasure of Sys and Carina as neighbors.
Zindy came in the finals and had a super finals race but unfortunately with a bar down so she came on a fifth Place her time rows to a 1st place - Zindy was really fast at final race - she is not the fastest on the track otherwise so her time has surprised me greatly. But very happy.

Worlddogshow / Herning
Four days of agility
Wednesday to Sunday at the World Exhibition in Herning - unfortunately
did it not go so well at the of the first two days, but Saturday and
Sunday, got we some fine results. Both dogs came in the
finals Zindy was disqualified and lady had a bar down but otherwise we had the fastest time - but that time cant we use to anything
... unless we had a clean run. It's error and second
down to 100 and 200 parts separating the rankings. And that is how competitions are.
Zindy got the title danish agility Champion, and now when she got this title then she also could use the title from Sweden Swedish Agility Champion. Zindy could only get the title Swedish agility champion when she was Danish agility champion - so the title was waiting ..

Zindy won the year of jumping dog at the agility club
Zindy won the year of jumping dog at the agility club, She also won last year – Lady was on the second place, but no diploma for her only Zindy.

Competition in Hillerød
Sunday morning there was competition in Hillerød, I was very tired after week course and had come home late on Saturday, so I must admit that I was not quite 100% ready for the first classes that were the open classes . Lady, however, was No. 2 in the open jumping class very impressive with a handler which almost slept during the jumping class.

Lady was No 3 in agility class 3 and became Danish champion agility.
In this class were very close between number 1-2 and number 3 which is really nice to know. Especially when I dident gave 100% power in this class. (I have not had such good agility runs, so we needed a little success)

Zindy had been endured a (fiber rupture ) and she has not trained so much the last week, so is she not been pressured when I compete in Hillerød

Danish Agility Team Meeting
This Weekend was the first ( of two ) Agility Team Meeting. We should run 2 courses a agility and a Jumping course each day. Between the courses should we to a coach not individual but as a group - the large dog handlers / small dog handlers / little dog handlers. I did
not feel quite that I got something out of this unfortunately.

Results Albertslund
This weekend, was the competition held in Albertslund 10 minutes from were I live. This is luxury.
Both dogs was great, but I really had to have a clean run in the agility class 3 ...
But right now I have a problem with agility classes... I had made the same mistake twice one time with Lady and then after with Zindy - how stupid can I be. And also the open agility classes - mistake mistake.
Next weekend is team meeting so there shall we make some great results.

3-day agility competition in Ribe
3-day agility in Jutland - (Ribe) was
unfortunately a few results I was hoping for a little more. But I am
obviously pleased with the rankings I had received.
Saturday was our best day - which was also super nice weather. The best run was the agility open where Lady and I had a great run everything worked right until I sent Lady obliquely into a jump when she landed the jump wing ... this run was the best one the hole competition.

Saturday was our best day - which was also super nice weather. The best run was the agility open where Lady and I had a great run everything worked right until I sent Lady obliquely into a jump when she landed the jump wing ... this run was the best one the hole competition.

3-day agility competition
Wonderful trip to VIBY a three
day agility competition which I had never participated in before.
The dogs and I arrived Wednesday evening at around 20:30, much later than intended, but there was much queuing at the highway. Dinner was already planned, homemade SUSHI ;0)
The trial started at nine, the day after, and it went very quickly, when I was finished in one course so it was almost directly over to the other course. We had finished everyday at about 16 also had awards ceremony at about at the 17th.
There was a joint dinner at 18, so there was not such a long time to walk the dogs and give them something to eat.
A real nice trial which I certainly want to leave again next year. Very nice prizes.
Both dogs got real beautiful results.
I will mention some highlights.
Lady got both of hers Danish Championship samples in the two open classes
(And is now ready for the Danish Championship individually)
Zindy got an agility certificate (now missing only one to become a Danish agility champion)

Agility competition in Hvalsø
This
Sunday we went to Hvalsø - weather kept fairly dry, so it was only the
first class for me was smooth. Both dogs were great ... Zindy, however, had eaten bones last night ... so she had a little issue with her stomach.
I would like to have the twoDenmark championship qualification with lady who was in the two open classes ( agility open and jumping class open ) so I did not pushed her. - This resulted in two Clean-runs race. ( Then we only missing two more )

Update agility competition in Hillerød
This competition was held
in Hillerød a large Danish international event with exhibition /
obedience / Rally and agility course. Last year it rained in Hillerød and this tournament was no exception that it rained too - and
it felt as - every time I was running the course, then it rained.
It was not the best
performance - but was nevertheless pleased.

Agility competition in Albertslund
The years first outdoor agility competition was hold in Albertslund only 15 minutes from my home. It was sunshine both days so it was a great start of the trial season.
This year is Lady also a part of the Danish national team agility
so there is great pressure on me to qualify for a place for the European Championship and World Cup and the competition is hard, we take it as it comes and if we do not reach it this year so we have to look to next year.
But this weekend it went very well some of the height points were:

Gåsahoppet Swedish agility competition
Friday and Saturday were the dogs and me in sweden for agility competition. The substrate we ran on were synthetic grass
with a lot of rubber - hard to describe. But super-cool to run on for the dogs and the handlers.
Friday classes went really well but there was always a mistake. Saturday started the day very bad with 2 disqualifications with Lady - which after all is not as good standard, when I have searched the national team with her. Fortunately things went better - we had some very good clean runs after. see results below

Agility at Vilhelmsborg in Jutland
Friday, I
drove to Jutland where I would visit Karina, who has a half sister
of Lady, Salsa - she lives a nice quiet place outside the city. So I stayed here from
Friday to Saturday where the competition was held at Vilhelmsborg riding
center Saturday morning.
The hall itself was very nice there was fine prospect of the 2 agility courses as you sat and looked down at this, there were about 3-4 meters down to the courses . It was quite cold in the hall and I usually always have good with clothes on and with - but I just could not keep warm.
Competition itself was actually really good ag open and jumping open as (qualification for the Danish championship) Zindy two clean run, Lady tore a stick 2nd last spring in spring open. In ag open - I sent her straight into the tunnel where she was had been up the A-frame.
Jumping Class 3, I think that I had been unconcentrated because I could not get leap 3 to function
Last run was agility class 3 Lady was No. 4 and delivered a very fine clean run race. Zindy would also have been flawless if I still had not turned me wrong, so she took a wrong jump.

Indoor Agility competition in Vallensbæk went really well, not some great results but I was really happy with my race. There was no sudden rescues or boring disqualifications.

Agility competition in Ribe
Year's second indoor competition was held in Ribe. I
had no expectations for the races as either Lady or Zindy runs
particularly well on a carpet, but fortunately it went very well - as the
long ride (3 hours) was not entirely in vain. The results was:

Lady nr 3 in agility class 3 and No. 10 in the open jumping class

The year's first agility competition
The year's
first agility competition was launched this weekend indoors in
vallensbæk - my dogs are not so firmly on the carpet, but I must say
that only one clean race out of 4 is not good enough to achieve the goals I
have now put me in 2010.

Dette år er gået utroligt hurtigt, men har været fuld at oplevelser og konkurrencer med hundene og masser af gode venner.
Lady har haft et flot år i 2009 og hvilke år, hun har fået de flotteste resultater, mange flere end jeg havde forventet - og jeg tør slet ikke håbe på sådan et godt år i 2010, men vil da håbe.
